A trap for catching ground walking or ground feeding birds and small animals such as the coney or manicou. The trap is made from a upsided down box or container lightly propped up by a stick with bait underneath. A string is attached to the stick such that when the animal enters it trips the string which then pulls the stick and causes the trap to fall.
